A trendy new café and restaurant coming soon to Ardency Trebartha

We are excited to announce North Bondi favourite ‘Shuk Bondi’ will be opening ‘Shuk Elizabeth Bay’ at Ardency Trebartha as part of the luxury redevelopment currently underway.

Over the course of the last 11 months, Ardency Trebartha in Elizabeth Bay has been undergoing a $10.1M redevelopment that’s bringing new life and luxury to the building. Due for completion in Spring 2018, the newly refurbished site will include enhancements such as a hair salon, cinema, resident lounge and a brand new roof top conservatory and terrace to allow residents to enjoy stunning views of Rushcutters Bay.  The team are thrilled to announce that the lease has just been signed for the restaurant and cafe that is sure to attract local foodies and delight residents.

One of Bondi’s favourite locals, SHUK, is expanding its offering and taking up residency on the ground floor of the building.  The café is well known for its vibrant and textural Israeli/Middle Eastern cuisine.

The team behind the expanding brand found an unexpected gem at Ardency Trebartha having spent months searching for the perfect location.

“SHUK is about creating a place where locals feel at home, while also being a destination for others with an unhurried, community feel,” said the owners of Shuk.

Lendlease's General Manager of Premium Resorts, David Bowen, said the needs of current residents and the retirees of the future are becoming more vibrant and diverse.

“We’re always looking for ways to reinvest in our retirement communities and respond to customer and resident needs.

“We feel SHUK is the perfect fit for Ardency Trebartha, offering a unique dining experience to traditional retirement communities and it will complement the high-end upgrades to the rest of the development,” said David.
