Lendlease Retirement Living’s COVID-19 update

Lendlease Retirement Living’s COVID-19 update

At Lendlease we know that connection is at the heart of community, and especially in times of uncertainty it is essential we come together and look after each other as we begin to move forward.

The health and safety of residents, staff and the community remain our highest priority. In line with Federal and State Government advice, we have been gradually easing restrictions in most villages across the country, however maintaining physical distancing and good hand hygiene remains at the forefront of this planning. We are continually reviewing and updating our plans in consultation with resident committees.

We are continuing our increased cleaning regime of all village communal areas and surfaces that are frequently touched (e.g. door knobs, handrails, etc.). We have also supplied hand sanitiser to the villages and resorts as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required to help protect residents and staff.

New ways of keeping residents connected:
We have a number of new initiatives in place to help keep our residents feeling supported and connected with each other, friends, family and Lendlease staff, such as:

  • The Lendlease Together app – which provides residents the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest village and Lendlease news, access interesting stories and be in touch with loved ones with its video calling feature.
  • Our ‘Two Teas and a Chat’ initiative where all Lendlease residents could opt-in to join the community linking activity that sees them paired with volunteer Lendlease employees who call or video chat with them
  • The in-home TV channel which enables us to digitally broadcast community information that’s tailored to residents, and allows them to stay informed and connected from the comfort of their own loungerooms.
  • ‘In It Together’, a national weekly newsletter for residents to share stories, poetry, photos, participate in competitions, and view recipes from our own chefs; and
  • Resident driven initiatives where they are staying socially connected while maintaining physical distances, through activities such as street yoga, walking pairs, resident welfare groups, window displays and zoom drop ins.

For new customers there are several options to view our properties:
  • We are available by appointment - if you would like to visit, please contact our team on 1800 550 550 or [email protected].
  • Many of our villages have virtual tours of their facilities and properties for sale, these can be viewed on the village page.
  • Follow us on Facebook to see virtual tours of our properties for sale and to hear stories from our residents and staff: www.facebook.com/lendleaseretirementliving/
