Baked camembert with figs and native honey

This 15-minute appetiser is perfect for holiday entertaining and perfectly irresistible.



4 - 6 figs

1 whole Camembert

1 handful walnut halves

5 thyme sprigs

3 tbsp native bush honey

3 tbsp balsamic vinegar



Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Line a large baking tray with baking paper and place the Camembert in the middle.

Slice figs in half and place around the tray, along with the walnuts.

Cut thyme sprigs in half and stick a few into the Camembert. Scatter the rest on top of the figs.

Drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the figs are golden and the cheese starts to melt.

Serve warm.
