With a wealth of experience, skills and knowledge, our Executive Management Team provides the strategic direction and focused drive for Lendlease's Retirement Living business.

Nathan Cockerill
Managing Director

Nathan has worked at Lendlease for six years in the Retirement Living business and has more than 25 years’ experience in Financial and Operational roles. Prior to being appointed Managing Director, he was the Executive General Manager Finance, Retirement Living where he oversaw the Finance Operations across the portfolio of 73 Retirement Villages nationally, as well as the development pipeline.

Nathan has a deep knowledge and expertise of the Retirement sector and understands the key performance drivers of the business. He thrives on the positive energy Lendlease inspires in its residents and is committed to building a team of professionals whose priority is the customer. A keen St Kilda footy fan, he enjoys running to clear his mind and can be found on weekends spending quality time with his wife and kids.

Wai See Chung
Head of Legal, Retirement Living and Company Secretary

Wai See has worked in retirement living for 14 years, and has over 20 years experience and expertise in the areas of corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, elder law, property, media and entertainment and intellectual property. Prior to joining Lendlease she practised overseas as Head Counsel of a substantial broadcasting company and in a top-tier legal firm.

Anne Jolic
Head of Development

Anne leads our Development Team nationally in origination, conversion and delivery. Anne has more than 20 years’ experience in the property industry. Most recently, she held the role of Development Director at Mirvac Group and previously worked at Lendlease from 2004 to 2013 in the Communities business.

She has significant experience in managing diverse multidisciplinary teams to deliver large projects including apartments, townhouses and master planned communities.

Anne’s excellent leadership skills and customer centric approach is complimentary to her strong skillset in origination, planning, designing communities through to the project delivery.

Anne has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Urban Planning (with Distinction) from RMIT University.

Kara Freedman
Head of Environmental Health & Safety

A typical day in Kara’s role sees her challenging the status quo, always looking for safer ways to operate and prevent accidents and injuries. As a registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the health and wellness space in a variety of industries, Kara is passionate about inspiring people to understand the importance of safety in the workplace. She describes the Retirement Living business as a breath of fresh air, thanks to the genuinely caring people she works with and the way in which the residents are made to feel so valued. Her interest in the arts means when she’s not promoting health and safety at work, she can be found at the theatre, visiting galleries, exploring new restaurants or planning her next overseas adventure.

David Payne
Head of Operational Excellence

David has been at Lendlease for over 30 years, with ten of those in Retirement Living, and more than 35 years in the property industry. His focus is on governance, business structure and processes and despite the complex nature of the industry, he thrives on the challenge of creating urban villages, catering for the ageing population and maintaining a lifestyle for future residents. He defines the most rewarding aspect of his job as the people; both those who work in the business, and the residents for whom Lendlease offers a better way of life. He is a dedicated family man and likes to keep fit. Weekends are spent enjoying family get-togethers, pottering in the garden and exercising. He has also played basketball since a kid, and has a keen ear for music.

Michael Dockery
General Manager Marketing, Residential & Retirement Living

Michael joined our Retirement Living business in 2018 following ten years of Marketing leadership experience across Lendlease. Michael has led the Marketing function for the Lendlease Retail business, Group Corporate Affairs and Barangaroo, and helped to establish the first Marketing Operations shared services model for the Property business. Michael brings our Lendlease values to life, notably receiving ‘People manager of the year’ acknowledgement in the Retail business, codeveloping our innovative Brand Partnerships work stream and demonstrating our RAP commitment with the Gawura Indigenous school in Sydney. Family life and sport are his two passions outside of work, and he can be frequently found wielding a tennis racquet at the local court.

Natalie Moore
Head of Sales

Natalie Moore has worked for Lendlease for five years, and though she’s taken on a variety of roles in that time, her passion has remained the same. For Natalie, it’s all about the customers; inspiring them to feel excited about being part of the Lendlease family. Since she joined the Retirement Living team in 2017, she’s helped to build a motivated team of sales professionals who not only excel in their roles, but ensure customer satisfaction is the priority. Previously, Natalie worked for Lendlease Communities for three years and also has a background in retail. She has a Master of Business Administration from QUT and graduated in 2010 with a focus on HR Management and Strategy. When she’s not at work, she can be found spending time with her beloved family and competing in Ironman triathlons including the Hawaiian World Championships and the half ironman world championships in Las Vegas.

Sarah Van Dyke
People and Culture Manager

With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Sarah Vandyke has an innate understanding of people and what drives them. She joined Lendlease in 2010, beginning as a Senior HR Advisor then Strategic Business Partner, before taking on her current role as People and Culture Manager, Property for Lendlease Retirement Living in 2019. She has a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and has worked in a diverse range of industries from Manufacturing, Retail and FMCG to Insurance, Investment Banking and Recruitment, in both Melbourne and London.

As well as being an HR expert, Sarah is also a mother to Xavier and Eliza. On weekends, she can be found with her family on her 40 acre hobby farm in Heathcote, tending to the sheep and chooks.

Tamara Rasmussen
Head of Resident Operations, Retirement Living

Tamara has worked in Lendlease’s Communities business for the past 15 years. With over 20 years of experience in the property industry, her wealth of knowledge encompasses everything from community engagement and sales to operations and development management. Prior to her current role, Tamara was Regional Development Manager NSW/ACT, responsible for the master-planned communities of Calderwood Valley and Bingara Gorge.

A 2019 recipient of the National UDIA Women in Leadership Award for her contribution to the development industry, Tamara’s passion, vision and commitment to putting Lendlease’s customers first is at the heart of everything she does.

Anthony Ibrahim
Head of Portfolio Management, Retirement Living

In the three years that Anthony has worked for Lendlease, he’s held a variety of senior roles in finance, operations and asset management. Previously, he spent 15 years at KPMG in Audit, Transactions and Restructuring Services, providing invaluable insights across strategic, financial and operational change.

Anthony has a Bachelor of Business from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and is also a Chartered Accountant. Prior to his current role, he was the General Manager Finance, overseeing Lendlease’s 71 established villages. Anthony has played an integral part in turning the Retirement Living business into a well-diversified portfolio – notably, now the largest in Australia.
